Republic Day - 100 Feet Tall Flag Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh is located near the Indo-China border, and in 2022, it got a 100 feet tall tricolour. The Indian National Flag flutters high as a symbol of India’s sovereignty, a requiem for the countless lives sacrificed for the country during the Indo-China conflict of 1962. Bumla Pass is about 35 kilometres from Tawang.
