Rescue ops launched by India as Liberian container ship tilts sharply off Kochi

A rescue operation was launched by Indian maritime authorities when a Liberia-flagged container vessel tilted by about 26 degrees off the Kochi coast on Saturday, authorities said. The Coast Guard rescued 21 crew members and search to find remaining is underway. The ship had departed from Vizhinjam Port on May 23 and was expected to reach Kochi on Saturday.
