Researcher who leaked data to Cambridge Analytica sues Facebook

Aleksandr Kogan, a former Cambridge University psychology researcher who leaked Facebook user data to British firm Cambridge Analytica, has sued Facebook for defamation. The lawsuit comes against Facebook's allegations that Kogan lied about why he was harvesting personal data from profiles on the site. Kogan had received access to the data through a personality quiz app developed by him.
