Researchers build robot with 20 'eyes' and legs that move in any direction

Researchers at Duke University have created a robot with 20 telescoping legs arranged around a central core, each equipped with a depth camera. The robot, named Arbgus, can look, walk, climb and manipulate objects in any direction instantly. Researchers claimed it can continue functioning even if one or more motors fail or a leg breaks.
