Researchers click world's first 3,200-megapixel digital photos
Researchers at US' Stanford-operated SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory have captured the first-ever 3,200-megapixel photos, using sensors from the world's largest digital camera. "The images are so large that it would take 378 4K ultra-high-definition TVs to display one," said the research lab. It added that the properties of these sensors will "drive unprecedented astrophysical research".
