Researchers develop device that gives stroke patients their voice back

Researchers have developed a wearable and washable device named 'Revoice' that can help stroke patients suffering from dysarthria, a motor speech disorder, regain their voice. The research was published in the journal Nature Communications. The device, which uses two AI agents, captures the patient's heart rate and throat vibrations, which are then used to make words and sentences in real-time.
