Researchers find ancient bird with tail 2-times the length of its body
Researchers discovered the fossil of a pigeon-sized bird in China that lived 121 million years ago and had tail feathers twice the length of its body. The 'Plumadraco bankoorum' would move its 30 cm tail feathers up and down to grab the attention of potential mates. They were wiped out with dinosaurs in an asteroid strike 66 million years ago.
