Researchers find new life in Himalayan Soil in Northeast India

Researchers discovered three tiny new creatures in Northeast India, a microscopic springtail from Sikkim, the size of a pinhead, and two never-before-seen ant species from tea gardens in Assam and Meghalaya. The ants are unique because they have feather-like hairs. This proves our soil holds endless hidden biodiversity.
