Researchers predict what a mouse sees using AI; video released

Researchers at Switzerland's EPFL have developed a machine-learning algorithm which can reveal the hidden structure in data recorded from the brain. In a demonstration, the researchers made a mouse watch a black-and-white film and reconstructed what it had seen using the 'CEBRA' algorithm. The tool can also be used to predict the movements of the arm in primates, study showed.
