Residents may have to fund 11-km long flyover costing ₹1300 crore in Bengaluru

People owning houses along a proposed 11-km-long elevated corridor that is estimated to cost ₹1300 crore will have to contribute towards the project through a levy linked to property tax, reports said. The corridor will pass through notable Bengaluru localities like Indiranagar, Domlur, Koramangala and Madiwala. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) reportedly ruled out tolls as a revenue option.
