Respect US FDA's decision on Covaxin, it won't impact vaccination in India: Govt

After US FDA rejected emergency use approval to Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, the Centre said it respected the decision but it will have "no impact whatsoever" on India's COVID-19 vaccination programme. "Each country has its own regulatory system. Some parameters might be common...some might be different," said NITI Aayog's Dr VK Paul, adding, "We're satisfied our regulator approved it (Covaxin)."
