Respiratory ailments took 25 lives daily in Delhi in 2024: Report

Nearly 25 people lost their lives daily due to respiratory problems in Delhi in 2024, which logged 9,211 deaths, up from 8,801 in 2023, marking 4.66 per cent increase, according to the latest report by the Delhi government. The report also highlighted that the total deaths in the national capital increased to 1,39,480 in 2024 compared to 1,32,391 in 2023.
