Respiratory cases see 30-40% rise amid rising pollution in Delhi: Report

Delhi hospitals have reported a 30-40% surge in respiratory cases as the city grapples with rising pollution leading to deterioration in air quality, PTI reported. A thick layer of smog enveloped national capital in the morning on Wednesday. Air quality index (AQI) stood at 367 in 'very poor' category at 3 pm. Health experts advised people to avoid stepping outside.
