Restaurant gets notice for 'serious negligence' as dry ice served to customers

Gurugram's La Forestta Cafe has received a show-cause notice from district food safety officer after five people were hospitalised due to dry ice served as mouth freshener. "There has been serious negligence on your part," said the notice, asking the restaurant to explain why its licence should not be cancelled or suspended. The restaurant's manager was arrested earlier.
