Restaurants begin adding ₹15-30 'LPG surcharge' to each bill amid LPG supply shortage

Restaurants in several parts of India are adding a temporary ₹15-30 "LPG surcharge" to bills amid LPG supply shortages. In some cases, a ₹15 "surcharge" was added to a ₹70 bill, while in another case, a ₹30 "gas supply issue" charge was added to the food order. This comes as LPG cylinder prices have hit ₹3,000 in the black market.
