Restaurants switch to wood, coal for cooking food amid LPG crunch

Commercial kitchens in Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and other cities have switched to using wood fires for cooking food amid LPG supply issues, NDTV reported. Some eateries have also started using coal and removing gas-intensive dishes from their menus. Meanwhile, black market prices for commercial LPG cylinders have reportedly touched ₹3,000 in Delhi-NCR.
