Restoration drive rejuvenates Ladakh's T-Trench water body

A restoration drive has rejuvenated the T-Trench water body in Ladakh, which once served as the only source of water for Leh. The water body, which was built in the 1980s, was left redundant due to unchecked and unplanned expansion, Ladakh LG Vinai Kumar Saxena said. Following the restoration, the trench is expected to meet the needs of 2,000 households.
