Restoring watersheds can revive Maharashtra’s farms

A study of the Urmodi watershed uses GIS, satellite data and multi criteria analysis to identify erosion hotspots and guide targeted conservation, offering a more landscape specific approach to watershed restoration, soil health and water security.
