Retail inflation rises to 4-month high of 3.48% in April

India's retail inflation rose to a four-month high of 3.48% in April from 3.40% in March. According to government data, food inflation also rose from 3.87% in March to 4.20% in April as the ongoing West Asia war continued disrupting the supply of oil and other petrochemical products. Personal care products saw 17.66% inflation, while tobacco products saw 4.76% inflation.
