Retd judge moves HC against SAD chief for insulting panel report

Retired judge Ranjit Singh has moved the Punjab and Haryana High Court against SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal and Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia for making "false...and defamatory" statements against him. Singh, who headed the Justice Ranjit Singh Commission that probed sacrilege incidents in Punjab, accused Badal of describing the report as "waste paper" and calling his law degree fake.
