Retired judge quits Maha UCC panel over public feedback process

Retired Bombay High Court Judge RC Chavan resigned from Maharashtra's Uniform Civil Code (UCC) panel over the process of seeking public feedback. He also raised concerns over the alleged presence and role of a non-member at the panel's meeting. Justice Chavan alleged that the chairperson had already circulated a feedback questionnaire when the panel was yet to finalise it.
