Revoke decision on postal ballots for those above 65: TMC urges EC

Mamata Banerjee-led TMC government in West Bengal has urged the Election Commission to revoke its decision to allow those aged above 65 and under quarantine, to cast their votes via postal ballot. "This disenfranchises those above 65 from exercising their right to vote," TMC general secretary Subrata Bakshi said, adding the move is "arbitrary, malafide and unconstitutional".
