RG Kar rape and murder victim’s mother Ratna Debnath leads from Panihati in early trends

Ratna Debnath, mother of the RG Kar rape and murder victim, is leading from West Bengal's Panihati constituency in early counting trends of the state Assembly polls. Contesting on a BJP ticket, she is up against TMC's Tirthankar Ghosh. TMC's Nirmal Ghosh had won each of the previous three Assembly elections from the Panihati constituency.
