Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma said celebrities condemning the AI-morphed Chuttamalle video featuring Janhvi Kapoor inadvertently gave it more visibility. He argued focus should have been on catching the perpetrator. Janhvi called the deepfake "deeply violating," while Jr NTR termed it "disgusting". Several stars including Chiranjeevi and Vijay Deverakonda also spoke out against AI misuse.
