RGV clears ₹1.11 cr dues after 9 years as FWICE halts production

Ram Gopal Varma cleared compensation of ₹1.11 crore owed to film crews since nine years after the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) halted production of his upcoming film 'Police Company'. "We had no choice but to stall the shoot. We asked the cameramen...and lighting department not to work until payment was made," FWICE General Secretary Ashok Dubey said.
