A new study published in the journal Science Advances found Rhinoceros' horn to be more valuable in weight than gold or diamonds; driving the animal's rigorous poaching. The study found the number of Rhinos poached escalating from 13 to 1,004 per year from 2007-2013. It is estimated that African Rhinos may go extinct within 20 years at this rate.
