Rich nations delay $100 bn climate aid to poor countries to 2023

A target for rich nations to provide $100 billion in aid each year to poor countries fight the effects of climate change will likely be met in 2023, officials said on Monday. Rich nations vowed in 2009 to deliver the annual aid for five years, starting in 2020. This comes ahead of the UN climate summit in the UK.
