Ride-hailing firm Lyft freezes all hirings amid economic instability

Ride-hailing platform Lyft has announced that it is freezing all hirings in the United States through the end of the year as part of its cost-cutting measures. A Lyft spokesperson said, "Like many other companies navigating an uncertain economy." Lyft laid off at least 60 employees and shut its first-party car rental service in July to tackle high inflation.
