Ride-hailing startup Grab fined for 4th data breach in Singapore
Singapore-based ride-hailing startup Grab has been fined $7,311 for a personal-data breach incident last year. Singapore's privacy regulator PDPC said the breach was Grab's fourth personal data violation since 2018. Last year in August, an update of Grab's mobile application exposed the personal data of over 21,500 GrabHitch drivers and passengers to the risk of unauthorised access.
