RIL completes acquisition of 40% stake in Sterling & Wilson Renewable

Reliance Industries (RIL) has completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in Shapoorji Pallonji Group's Sterling & Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) for ₹2,845 crore, the company said. In October 2021, Reliance had announced two acquisitions, one was to buy Norway's REC Solar Holdings for $771 million and the other was for 40% stake in SWREL in a multi-stage transaction.
