RIL plans to invest ₹1.6 lakh cr to build India's largest data centre: Report

Reliance Industries plans to invest ₹1.6 lakh crore (over $17 billion) to set up a 1.5-gigawatt (GW) data centre cluster in Visakhapatnam, The Economic Times reported. The facility will include captive solar power and a battery storage system. It is expected to be India’s largest data centre cluster, surpassing Google’s $15 billion, 1-GW project in the same region.
