Ring discovered around dwarf planet in our solar system

Astronomers have detected a ring encircling the dwarf planet Quaoar in our solar system and released an illustration of the same. The ring is present at a distance of almost seven and a half times the radius of Quaoar, the ESA said. "This is the discovery of a ring located in a place that shouldn't be possible," an astronomer said.
