Rings around 4.5 bn-yr-old Saturn formed 10-100mn yrs ago: Study

A new study based on data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft has suggested that rings around the 4.5 billion-year-old Saturn were formed within the last 10-100 million years. Scientists deduced the rings' age by studying Cassini's deflection caused by the rings' gravity when it circled between them and the planet. Cassini was made to crash into the Saturn's atmosphere in 2017.
