Ring-tailed male lemurs use 'stink flirting' to attract mates: Study

A study published in Current Biology journal said ring-tailed male lemurs use "stink flirting" to attract their mates. "Stink flirting" behaviour was observed in male lemurs where they rub glands on their wrist against their tails and wave them at females, study said. Their natural cologne is likely to have three chemicals with floral and fruity scents as essential ingredients.
