Rinku Singh named KKR captain Rahane's deputy ahead of IPL 2026

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have named batter Rinku Singh as their vice-captain for the upcoming IPL 2026 season. The 28-year-old, who has been playing for KKR since 2018, will serve as deputy to Ajinkya Rahane, replacing Venkatesh Iyer in the role. The announcement was made by KKR Managing Director Venky Mysore during a pre-season event on Tuesday.
