Footwear industry in Uttar Pradesh's Agra, a city that exports shoes worth ₹3,000-4,000 crore annually, is facing disruption driven by Middle East war. The exporters, who were earlier hit by US President Donald Trump-imposed tariffs, are now seeing a rise in the cost of raw material. "Containers that costed $500-700 aren't available for even $2,000 anymore," an industry leader said.
