Riyan Parag becomes 1st man from Northeast region to play international cricket for India

Riyan Parag on Saturday created history by becoming the first man from Northeast region to play international cricket for India. The 22-year-old all-rounder, who hails from Assam, is making his Team India debut in the first T20I against Zimbabwe in Harare. Notably, Riyan plays domestic cricket for Assam and represents Rajasthan Royals (RR) in IPL.
