Road accidents, deaths decline in Himachal, but roads remain risky

Compared to 2024, the number of road accidents has declined in Himachal Pradesh. As per data shared by the Department of Transport, road accidents have reduced by 10%, deaths by 9%, and serious injuries by 6%. Despite the reduction in accidents and fatalities, the state’s roads continue to be accident-prone.
