Road on Lucknow's Green Corridor collapses within 48 hours of inauguration

A road on Lucknow's Green Corridor caved in within 48 hours of inauguration, reportedly resulting in a 5-ft deep crater. The second phase of the project, constructed at a cost of ₹299 crore, was inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday. Lucknow Development Authority claimed it happened due to soil erosion near sewage line.
