Roads can't be blocked in name of religious activities, govt can interfere: SC

The Supreme Court said on Tuesday that roads cannot be blocked in the name of religious activities, adding that the government can interfere if issues of public order arise. "You may carry on your religious activity, but not in a manner that disrupts public order," the apex court said. "There has to be a balance," the court added.
