Roblox mandates age verification for chat access in India

Roblox said users in India must verify their age to use chat features from January 14. The global rollout began in December 2025 and is expanding worldwide. The platform said the move aims to limit adult-child interactions and support age-appropriate communication. Roblox added that facial age estimation data will be deleted after verification.
