Robot named Messinator learns soccer after 140 years of simulated self-play

A video posted by Skild AI showed a humanoid robot playing football with a human, including dribbling and scoring a goal. Named Messinator, the robot was also seen wearing Argentina's football jersey. Skild AI's S1 robotics foundation model was trained on 140 years of simulated self-play and the resulting policy was transferred to the humanoid robot for real-world matches.
