Robot that can predict a human smile and smile back developed

Researchers at Columbia University have created a robot named Emo that can predict a human smile about 840 milliseconds before it happens and can smile back. The robot can also mimic other facial expressions that involve raising the eyebrows and frowning, researcher Yuhang Hu said. Emo analysed over 800 videos to learn the association between muscle movements and expressions.
