Robot wearing saree offers sweets to voters in Tamil Nadu

A robot named 'Nila', draped in a saree, was seen greeting and offering voters sweets for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections on Thursday. The robot's voice processing and remote control model was developed by students of a government college in Vellore. One of the students said the robot would also provide assistance to voters on how to cast their vote.
