‘Robotic Skins’ that turn everyday objects into robots made

Researchers from Yale University have developed a new "robotic skins" technology that allows users to turn everyday objects into robots. Designed in collaboration with NASA, the skin is made of elastic sheets embedded with sensors which can be wrapped around inanimate objects like a stuffed animal to turn it into a robot. They can also be used for space exploration.
