Rocket space junk travelling at 8,850 km/hr to hit Moon today, cause huge crater
A four-tonne rocket body will crash into the Moon on Friday, marking the first time that space junk is accidentally hitting lunar surface. It'll smash into a crater at a speed of 8,850 km/hr and create a crater of its own. The rocket booster, believed to be part of China's Chang'e 5-T1 mission, is expected to slam at 12.25pm GMT.
