Rogers network recovering after 19-hr outage hits millions in Canada

Canadian telecom provider Rogers' network has started recovering after it suffered a major 19-hour service outage that affected millions in Canada. The outage affected banking services, internet access, cell phone and landline phone connections, with some people reporting not being able to connect to 911 calls. Rogers CEO Tony Staffieri apologised for the outage, saying, "Today we let you down."
