Rohit becomes 2nd Indian captain to score 50+ runs in CT final

Rohit Sharma became the second Indian captain after Sourav Ganguly to score 50+ runs in a Champions Trophy final, scoring 76(83) against New Zealand in 2025. Ganguly had hit 117(130) in the 2000 final against New Zealand. Other captains to achieve the feat include Sanath Jayasuriya (74 against India in 2002) and Hansie Cronje (61* against West Indies in 1998).
