Rohit Sharma receives Padma Shri from President Murmu on 19th anniversary of his international debut

Former Team India captain Rohit Sharma received the Padma Shri from President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Tuesday, coinciding with the 19th anniversary of his international debut. Rohit made his India debut on June 23, 2007, in an ODI against Ireland. He later led India as captain to T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025 title victories.
