Rohit Sharma slams hundred off 72 balls, becomes oldest batter to smash ODI ton in India

Rohit Sharma became the oldest batter to smash an ODI hundred in India, achieving the feat at 39 years and 153 days. He reached his 35th ODI hundred off 72 balls against West Indies in Guwahati. The previous record was held by Sunil Gavaskar, who was 38 years and 113 days old when he smashed 103* in Nagpur in 1987.
